Create a server

Step by step in the app and in the web panel: what you are asked for, the limits and how the server starts out.

Because the web and the app are separate (Web and app ), you create the server in each one. On the web, for the bot and licences. In the app, for the phone, the MDT and the admin panel.

In the app

Fill in the name (up to 40 characters, as on the web), a description if you like (up to 500: it is what people read in Discover), how players talk (text or voice), the language (the app’s own is preselected), the currency (symbol and name) and, optionally, the Discord invite.

Paste the creation code. Without it the server is not created, and the Blixye team gives it to you. If creation fails, the code is not spent.

Press Create server. You are the owner and its admin panel opens on Overview, with the checklist of what is left to set up. After that you manage it with the Manage button in the server list.

It starts with four roles (Owner, Admin, Mod and everyone), with the language and currency you picked and with its plan member cap: 50 on Free (Plans and limits ). Players who join through your FiveM server do not count towards that cap. You change the language and currency in Manage → Server.

NOTE The server starts private: people join with its invite code and it does not show up in Discover. When it is ready, make it public in Manage → Server; the «Open the server in Discover» step on Overview reminds you.

In the web panel

Where does it come from?: No Discord for now, or one of your Discord servers. Only the ones you administer that do not have a Blixye server yet are listed.

What is it called?: up to 40 characters. If you pick a Discord and leave it empty, it takes that name.

Which licence?: Bot only (free), a new free ER:LC or FiveM licence, or one of yours with a free slot.

Press Create server. It takes you to the server page.

Then link the Discord from Connections (Link Discord ) and switch on the modules you are going to use (Bot modules ).

NOTE To link, the bot has to be in your Discord. In the app, Manage → Integrations → Discord has the Add the bot button, which opens Discord with your server already chosen (Link Discord). It also gives its invite link with /invite in any server where it already is.

1. Send your people the launcher

It is the only thing they install, and only once. They sign in with Discord, we verify their Roblox account and the overlay shows over the session.

2. Create your departments

Police, sheriff, fire or whatever you run. Each with its ranks and permissions: that decides who can punish, clock in or read records.

3. Open the server

With the first duty shift the calls, activity and economy start filling up. From there you just tune it.
