Backups

Making, scheduling, downloading and restoring server backups in the app, and what a backup does not keep.

They are in the app: Manage → Backups.

Making a backup dumps all the server data right away into a compressed file, which is kept there and you can download.

You can schedule them with a cron expression in UTC. For example, 0 4 * * * is every day at 4:00 UTC.

Importing records a backup that already sits at an outside URL. That one can be downloaded, but not restored.

Restoring is owner-only and replaces everything there is now. Before doing it, the server saves a backup of how things were.

NOTE A backup keeps characters, banking, vehicles, corporations, reports and the phone. It does not keep user accounts or the server itself: it brings your data back, but it does not revive a deleted server.

Create the server

Type at least 3 characters.

1. Send your people the launcher

It is the only thing they install, and only once. They sign in with Discord, we verify their Roblox account and the overlay shows over the session.

2. Create your departments

Police, sheriff, fire or whatever you run. Each with its ranks and permissions: that decides who can punish, clock in or read records.

3. Open the server

With the first duty shift the calls, activity and economy start filling up. From there you just tune it.
