Game key and scopes

The key your FiveM server uses to talk to Blixye: where to create it, which scopes the phone and jobs need.

Your game server talks to Blixye with its own key, not with anyone's account. The Blixye server comes from the key: any server_id the game sends is ignored.

Creating it

In the app: Admin panel → Integraciones → «Servidor de juego (FiveM)». Only the server owner or an admin with «Gestionar el servidor».

Pick the scopes and, if you want, a label (up to 80 characters) and the IPs it works from (up to 20 IPs or CIDR ranges, IPv4 or IPv6; empty = from anywhere).

The key (gm_ followed by 4 characters, an underscore and 48 more) is shown ONCE. Blixye only stores its fingerprint: if you lose it, revoke it and create another.

When you create it, the app gives you the server.cfg block already written (set blixye_game_token "…" and ensure blixye_telefono) to paste as is (The server.cfg).

A server can have up to 10 active keys. Revoking one takes effect immediately.

The four scopes

players.session («Teléfono en el juego»): open the session of every player who joins, so they use the phone without signing in. This key can act as any player on the server: keep it on the game server only and tie it to its IP.

jobs.read («Leer trabajos»): read the job catalogue and who has which job. With it, Blixye takes over the framework's jobs (Jobs).

jobs.write («Pedir cambios»): request hires, promotions and removals signed by a character with permission (the boss menu, /setjob, the panel).

jobs.free («Altas libres»): hire without a boss into open jobs and into ranks that can be assigned without a boss.

Which scopes to tick

For the phone: players.session and jobs.read. The phone uses jobs.read to check the character a player picks is really theirs.

For the boss menu and /setjob to work: add jobs.write.

If you have open-hiring jobs: add jobs.free.

NOTE The key starts as a «Key for the resource», with players.session, jobs.read and jobs.write already ticked: what the phone and the boss menu need. jobs.free is not ticked: hiring without a boss is your call.

Create the server

Type at least 3 characters.

1. Send your people the launcher

It is the only thing they install, and only once. They sign in with Discord, we verify their Roblox account and the overlay shows over the session.

2. Create your departments

Police, sheriff, fire or whatever you run. Each with its ranks and permissions: that decides who can punish, clock in or read records.

3. Open the server

With the first duty shift the calls, activity and economy start filling up. From there you just tune it.
